Side by side
Compare clubs and get the answer first: what is actually different, computed from the published figures — iron sets as whole sets, everything else at the exact option.
Pick one club and the tool offers its natural rivals — same category, nearest release year, one per brand — so the matchup you came for is one click. Pick two iron sets and you get the whole ladder: every club from the long iron down to the wedges, its loft, lie, length and swingweight, the set's makeup, and the gapping between consecutive clubs. Clubs line up by the club they are — a 7-iron published as “7-iron”, “7” or “#7” is one row, and every brand's name for the gap wedge is one row.
For a driver, wedge or putter the option is the product, so those compare one option at a time — loft, lie, length, swingweight, head weight, handedness and adjustability, plus every brand-specific column each manufacturer publishes under its own label. A row appears only when at least one of the clubs you picked publishes it. 4,297 clubs, 919 comparable iron sets, 23,981 options in all.
