AI Studio beta
Ask the Studio for a view of a hole, your bag or your numbers, and it draws one for you.
Its figures are read from Zomma’s records, the engine’s plan and the numbers you gave us, with the sources at the foot of each view, and the model that lays out each view never writes a figure itself. The Studio is in beta and free while in beta. It is built for a desk the night before a round, so it works best on a computer.
…
What it draws
A hole, planned for you: name a course, a hole and a tee, and it plans that hole against your own numbers and draws the expected score, the chances of each score and the line shot by shot, with the club for each shot where your bag covers it.
Your bag and your numbers: what each club carries, your handicap or the range we estimated from what you typically shoot, and where every one of them came from.
A plan is one hole at a time. Ask for another hole and it plans that one too.
How it works
A model reads your question and decides what to look up: a course, a hole, or your own numbers. The lookups run on Zomma, against the course records and the planning engine, and you can open every one of them under the block it belongs to.
The model then lays out the view from Zomma's own parts: a hole card, the chance of each score, the line shot by shot, your bag, a round hole by hole. Each part reads its figures from what the lookups returned and states the tee and the date beside them. The model chooses the parts and their order and never writes a figure itself; a layout that asks for something the lookups did not return is not drawn, and the Studio lays out the view itself instead. The sources for every figure sit at the foot of each view.
Each view runs in a frame on an address of its own. It cannot load anything or connect anywhere, it cannot see this page or read your account, and a view written to leave its frame is not drawn.
A view you keep is saved to your account and nobody else can open it. Reopening it shows it exactly as it was, and a re-run fetches its data again on the current engine. Your usage and your limit are shown at the top of the Studio.
